I am currently a machine learning scientist at Dyno Therapeutics. I completed my PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at University of California, Berkeley, advised by Michael Jordan and Jennifer Listgarten and affiliated with BAIR and RISELab. My research lies at the intersection of machine learning and computational biology, developing new methods for designing novel proteins and interpreting high-throughput biological experiments. I am interested in fostering close collaborations with laboratory experts to uncover new biological insights using machine learning.
Before Berkeley, I spent two years doing research at Google Brain as a member of the inaugural class of the Google AI Residency Program. I obtained my B.S. in Mathematical and Computational Science from Stanford University, where I was advised by Bradley Efron and worked with Russ Altman to complete my honors thesis in Biomedical Informatics.
